A Morning in Westminster

The first click of the shutter felt like a long-lost melody returning to me. It had been a while since my last photoshoot (like, a very long while), and yet, on that brisk October morning in 2023, everything fell into place as if no time had passed at all. Lidiia Golovina (my first photographer, my trusted collaborator and now a cherished friend) stood behind the lens once again. We had worked together before about the outfit, capturing moments suspended between light and shadow, but this morning felt different. And whilst London was slowly waking up on this Friday morning, this was what happened. I remember the way the cold nipped at my skin, the way the city seemed to wrap around us like a silent observer, and most of all, the way I lost myself in the moment.

It wasn’t just a photoshoot. It was a return, a rediscovery, a reminder of why I do this.
